Lots have been said and written about Kareena Kapoor’s relationship her husband Saif Ali Khan’s kids, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim. Contrary to what the majority speculated, Kareena has heself revealed about the kind of relationship she shares with her step kids.
Apparently, the actress is very fond of Sara and Ibrahim and prefers playing a good friend to them, rather than a a mother.
During a recent interview with a leading daily, Kareena Kapoor said
“I always maintain it as though we are friends because they have a wonderful mother, who has done a splendid job in bringing them up. Sarah has got admission in the Columbia University. Few girls get the opportunity to study there. There are many scholars in his family. Saif encourages education. I’m happy for the kids. I never had this kind of an opportunity. My advice to her was, you can act anytime. But an opportunity to go to Columbia and live in New York on your own will not come again. What I have realised is there there’s much more to life than constantly trying to bag a film,”
At Saif and Kareena’s wedding which took place last year October, we saw Sara posing with the latter for the paparazzi. Also, Ibrahim too was spotted at the do. They all share a very cordial relationship.
