Karan Johar confirmed Kareena Kapoor Khan for the lead role in Shuddhi, which stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. The film would be directed by Karan Malhotra.
One of the sexiest on screen couples in Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan, who set the screen on fire in 2000’s will be back after ten long years.
Kareena believes that Hrithik Roshan is one of the finest actors in India and that she is very lucky and excited to be cast opposite him.
“I am very excited about ‘Shuddhi’. We’re both working together after such a long time. He is such a fine actor. He is one of finest actors in our country,” Kareena told.
“I am looking forward to this film. We will start shooting from January 2014,” she added.
The duo have been seen in several hit films including “Yaadein”, “Mujhse Dosti Karoge!”, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon.
The movie Shuddhi will be widely shot in Mumbai and Uttarakhand and is a full on intense love story.
